Copyright:
All of our designs are the copyright and property of Denote Stationery, which means that you (or a third party) are not permitted to copy any part of the design or reproduce it in any way. Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain permission for any copyright material that you wish to feature in your stationery, for example poems, hymns or quotes that have not been created by yourself.
Payment:
We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value when you place your order with Denote stationery. We will require the remaining balance when you are happy with your design, before printing proceeds.
Proof Approval, Returns and Cancellations:
We cannot be held responsible for any errors (spelling mistakes etc) that appear on your final product. The proof reading of all text and copy is down to you as you are the boss! So when you receive your electronic proofs from us please check them carefully, double check them and check them again! It may be worth getting someone else to take a look at the final proof as you may well have missed something that a fresh pair of eyes can see. We do strongly recommend that you print the electronic proofs supplied to you in order to view them to the correct size. We will not begin print production until we have received written confirmation from you that you are happy for us to proceed.
Your final design is unique to you therefore should an order be cancelled, we must be paid in full for any work that is either in progress or completed. Please note that for this same reason we cannot accept returns due to customer input or typographical errors (see above). When your final proof is approved you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are discovered after final printers proof approval, we will charge for any reprinting.
As a standard policy we only make refunds and exchanges if goods are faulty. As previously mentioned this does not include typos that you did not notice on your proofs. Any faults or defects must be relayed in writing within three days of receiving your order and your complete stationery order returned to us, in its entirety, packed securely so as to avoid any damage likely to be incurred during transportation. If your stationery is deemed faulty on the part of Denote Stationery we will of course correct or replace your stationery. If it is not possible to re-supply your stationery with the same Denote Stationery we will offer an alternative or similar replacement.
Denote Stationery will offer you a refund for the amount paid for the faulty part of your order if we are unable to correct or replace your stationery. Denote Stationery will only offer a full refund if the order is faulty in its entirety.
Colour variation:
Please note that samples may not exactly match the finished product due to variations in the print production process. Press set-up, plates, ink and paper can all result in small variations. Minor differences in texture, colour, size and positioning can sometimes occur and do not constitute a fault or a refund. Please also be aware that colors will appear differently on screen than they will when printed so it is best to request a printed proof.
Denote Stationery accepts no responsibility for the effect of ageing on the materials used and we cannot be held responsible for damage to your stationery after it leaves our design studio. This includes damage during delivery and subsequent posting to guests.
We reserve the right to use any stationery we create for you to promote our products and services.
