Anna and Richard wanted to make an impact but were unsure how to achieve this whilst still keeping a traditional and rustic feel.
The wedding was held in late September, in a beautiful village church with the reception in a marquee, with the backdrop of stables, luscious green fields and old wonderfully established trees. We used orange and berry tones in keeping with the time of year along with flowers and ornaments that they would be using throughout their wedding They fell in love with the idea of an antique puzzle purse design, an origami-like piece of folded paper, originally exchanged by sweethearts in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s.
Each stage of opening the invitation showed something new, with the final stage opening to reveal the invitation wording and a pop of colour, along with the information card and R.S.V.P postcard sitting neatly inside.
The invite was wrapped in an off white satin ribbon and housed in a rustic brown craft envelope.
The invites proved to be a hit with guests commenting on their unique design and the fun challenges that they had faced trying to return the invitation to its original form – all part of the charm!
As favours, guests were given six Music Box sunflower seeds representing health, wealth, happiness, fertility, luck and longevity. Again housed in the craft envelopes to match the invites.
